Street Fighter X Tekken hits retail
Cross-franchise fighter now available
Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter X Tekken is now available in North America.
The latest addition to the Street Fighter family, Street Fighter X Tekken features 38 iconic characters from each franchise. With the addition of new gameplay mechanics, the fighting engine from Street Fighter IV has been refined to suit the needs of both Street Fighter and Tekken players alike.
Street Fighter X Tekken also introduces Scramble Mode, where four separate players can control each of the four characters on screen, for battle both online or offline.
The retail version of Street Fighter X Tekken will be the only disc-based version consumers will need to own and all future upgrades will come from post-launch DLC.
Street Fighter X Tekken is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC version is set to follow at a later date.
