Ubisoft server changes lock out more games than planned
Things don't go according to plan, as legitimate users locked out of Driver SF and Anno 2070
Following the announcement that some Ubisoft PC Games won't be available to play this week due to a server move, reports say that the outage is currently affecting games which were supposed to be safe from any impact.
As first spotted by PC Gamer, PC owners of Driver San Francisco and Anno 2070 have been reporting unable to play since the outage started last night. These games were previously specifically confirmed by Ubisoft to be not affected by the server changes.
Ubisoft has since apologized on Twitter, stating: "We apologize for the inconvenience, it seems some of you can't connect to games announced as playable during migration."
Titles which were expected to be down for the duration of the work include Tom Clancy's HAWX 2, Might & Magic: Heroes 6 and The Settlers 7. Uplay on PC is also set to be unavailable.
