Twisted Metal gone gold, demo incoming
Upcoming vehicle combat title will get a demo, PSN Online pass
Creator David Jaffe has confirmed over the weekend that Heavy Metal, the first game in the series to release on PlayStation 3, will get a demo and also require an online pass.
With the confirmation that the game's gone gold and will be in stores in February, Jaffe took time to confirm some details in a lengthy video. There will indeed be an Online pass included with the game, as is to be expected following Sony's plans starting with Resistance 3.
Confirmation of an upcoming demo, and a day-one patch are also included as part of the video, but little details about the contents of either were given.
In related news, the Sweet Tooth Outcast Multiplayer skin for Starhawk was revealed, and will be included in every copy of Twisted Metal. As mentioned before, those who preorder will get early access to Axel and a free upgrade to the Limited Edition that comes with a code to download Twisted Metal: Black.
Twisted Metal is coming February 14, 2012 only on PlayStation 3.
