FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction to include Steamworks
Sequel to the racing franchise will support Steamworks feature set, integrated with Razer Hydra controller
Strategy First has announced that FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction is now ready for Pre-Order on Steam. The destructive racing game is fully integrated with Steam Works, and the Razer Hydra Controller.
The new physics engine will deliver over 20,000 fully destructible objects on every track and realistic damage models on all 47 vehicles. Additionally, the game is fully integrated with the new Razer Hydra controller powered by the Sixense motion tracking technology.
“FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction will provide the millions of fans of the franchise wide ranging game modes, extensive content, new vehicles and much more. We have more than doubled the amount of game play hours from previous installments and for the first time offer a fully integrated motion controller powered by Sixense which will complement SteamWorks,” commented Strategy First Director Emanuel Wall.
FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction is priced at $29.99 upon launch, with a 10% off preorder offer now live. Also available is the FlatOut Complete Package which will feature FlatOut, FlatOut 2, FlatOut Ultimate Carnage and the all new FlatOut 3: Chaos & Destruction for $39.99. The game is set to launch on December 13th, 2011.
