Halo: Anniversary to feature 3D visuals
Upcoming HD remake gets 3D features and a collaboration with Forza 4
To mark the beginning of Halo Fest during PAX Prime, 343 Industries has announced 3D capability for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, as well as a special collaboration with Forza Motorsport 4.
For the first time, fans will be able to experience the original Halo campaign in a whole new dimension as they play in stereoscopic 3D. Using a custom made top-and-bottom 3D technology, 3D-TV owning fans will be able to experience the re-mastered Halo: Anniversary in a more immersive experience.
As well, the developers at Turn 10 Studios and 343i have partnered together to include the iconic Warthog in Forza Motorsports 4 new Autovista mode. Autovista lets players walk around, interact and learn about vehicles in a virtual 3D space. Fans who pick up Forza Motorsport 4 will be treated to a first look at the Halo 4 model Warthog and an interactive experience narrated by the voice of Cortana.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is coming exclusively to Xbox 360 in November.
