7sixty to distribute Stronghold 3 for SouthPeak
Newly formed Texas based company to handle distribution of castle sim
7sixty has announced its launch as the newest video game publisher today. An affiliate of SouthPeak Interactive, 7sixty’s first title is the third instalment of the Stronghold series, developed by Firefly Studios. The franchise has sold more than five million copies to date and Stronghold 3 builds upon the success of its predecessors with a host of gameplay enhancements.
“We feel Stronghold 3 is the perfect example of our new publishing spirit,” said Jeff Hutchinson, VP interactive entertainment, 7sixty. “It will have an incredibly strong presence on the shop shelf, alongside partnerships with leading digital distributors and plenty of high quality downloadable content."
An affiliate of SouthPeak Interactive Corporation – who will also act as the publisher’s distributor at retail – 7sixty is based in Grapevine, Texas and has an office in Leicester, UK. Stronghold 3 is coming to Windows PC in September.
