All the details about the upcoming multiplayer beta
Naughty Dog has released new details about the upcoming multiplayer beta for Uncharted 3, an action adventure exclusive for PlayStation 3.
Players that have the voucher from Infamous 2 or a PlayStation Plus subscription, the beta will open on June 28th, and July 4th for everyone else. It will run until July 13th, and have a level 25 player cap.
Nine modes will be included in the beta, such as Team Deathmatch, 3-Team Deathmatch, Team Objective, Free For All, and more. A Airfield and a French chateau maps will be included.
Uncharted 3 will have four power plays. These are one-minute events that'll occur in blowouts to give the losing team a fighting chance (although the winning team can benefit, too). They include Marked Man, Cursed, Exposed, and Double Damage.
Boosters - equipable abilities that affect gameplay - are back in Uncharted 3, but they've been revamped. When you choose one of these abilities and use it, you earn experience points for it. So, you're leveling up your profile and your abilities individually when you play the game. The Uncharted 3 multiplayer beta is going to feature eight boosters spread over two slots.
AK-47, G-Mal and the Dragon Sniper round out the list of long guns that will be in the beta. Pistols are also included, as well as RPGs.
