Annapurna to invest in Control sequel
Agreement to include funding, film and TV developments
Remedy and Annapurna have announced a strategic cooperation agreement on Control 2, and plans to bring the Control and Alan Wake franchises to film and television.
Under the agreement, Annapurna will be co-financing the development of Control 2. This means Remedy remains in control, and will still be self-publishing the title as they see fit. The sequel will be revealed when the developers are ready.
Annapurna is an independent multi-platform media company and content studio founded by Megan Ellison in 2011.
