Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora gets first DLC next month

Ubisoft has announced that the first story pack for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora called The Sky Breaker will be available July 16.

The Sky Breaker sees a mysterious shadow looming in the sky, threatening the Na’vi clans below who are celebrating at their great festival of games. Players will continue their Na’vi journey begun in the main game, this time to The Heart of the Plains, a yet-to-be-discovered area of the Upper Plains. Here, familiar biomes have bloomed into new variations, while other environments such as the Prism Fields, Feathered Grasslands, Stone Rapids and more, are brand new.

While exploring the Heart of the Plains, you’ll encounter a new enemy archetype, the AMP Defender, which protects key facilities with its indestructible shield and top-mounted gatling gun. You’ll also encounter new RDA lieutenants, whose AMP Suits provide added firepower and better protection, in each of the RDA Command Stations. Finally, you’ll be able to take part in timed challenges during the festival of games, level up to master crafter with the new Legendary rarity category and progress up to rank 25 with new ways to spend skill points.

The Sky Breaker will be available July 16. Players who upgrade to the Season Pass now to get access to two story packs, The Sky Breaker and Secrets of the Spires, as well as a bonus quest and cosmetics.

The title is available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
