Gamescom 2024 registration begins

Organizers behind gamescom, the annual gaming event taking place August 21-25, 2024 in Cologne, Germany, have announced that fan tickets are now available for purchase.

With the opening of the ticket shop, trade visitors and private individuals can now purchase their gamescom tickets. All gamescom tickets are exclusively available at the official gamescom ticket shop at gamescom.global. It is not possible to purchase tickets on site.

Day tickets for private visitors are only available at the gamescom online ticket shop while stocks last. Returning this year is a discounted evening ticket for the public days. This ticket gives you access to the entertainment area and related areas such as the cosplay village, retro area, indie area, event arena and much more from 4 pm German time.

New Wildcards are available for purchase. These give private visitors access to all entertainment areas as well as related areas such as the cosplay village, retro area, indie area, campus area and many more on the trade visitor and media day on August 21, 2024, starting at 1 pm German time.

With the optional green ticket, all visitors can take part in gamescom goes green and contribute to environmental and climate protection together with the organizers and exhibitors. The proceeds will benefit the gamescom forest, which has already grown to over 25,000 square meters since its creation near Bayreuth in 2020.

gamescom is jointly organized by Koelnmesse and game – Verband der deutschen Games-Branche e.V. Last year, the show featured over 1220 exhibitors and welcomed 320,000 visitors from over 100 countries.
