Insurgency: Sandstorm gets next-gen patch

Focus Entertainment has announced that Insurgency: Sandstorm is now available natively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The updated version promises a range of enhancements, including native 4K at 60 frames per second (1080p on Xbox Series S), the HD texture pack, shorter loading times, and haptic feedback on the PS5.

Additionally, cross-gen is available. Owners of the game switching from Xbox One and PS4 will receive the native version for free and keep all their previously-purchased DLCs.

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a team-based, tactical FPS based on lethal close quarters combat and objective-oriented multiplayer gameplay. Experience the intensity of modern combat where skill is rewarded, and teamwork wins the fight. The game originally launched in 2018.
