Horizon Forbidden West out on PC in March
Unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings and more
Sony has announced that Horizon Forbidden West will be making its way to PC on March 21, 2024, ported by Nixxes Software.
Horizon Forbidden West continues Aloy’s story as she moves west to a far-future America to brave a majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.
This Complete Edition for PC also includes the Burning Shores expansion, which continues Aloy’s journey and takes players to a treacherous volcanic archipelago after the main quest.
PC port features include unlocked frame rates, customizable graphics settings and a broad range of performance-enhancing technologies, including NVIDIA DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation. AMD FSR, NVIDIA DLAA, and Intel XeSS are also supported. The game leverages DirectStorage for quick loading times on PC. Gameplay is supported in 21:9 ultra-wide, 32:9 super ultra-wide and even 48:9 resolutions with compatibility for triple-monitor setups.
Horizon Forbidden West made its debut on PS4 and PS5 in 2022.
