Batman: Arkham Trilogy coming to Nintendo Switch
Trio of action games are being ported to the console
Warner Bros. Games and DC have announced Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch, a compilation of Rocksteady Studios’ games that brings together Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, and Batman: Arkham Knight in one package.
Developed by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum is a single player, third-person action/adventure in which the Dark Knight is forced to take on his greatest challenge yet when he is trapped by arch rival, the Joker, within Gotham City's facility for the criminally insane, Arkham Asylum.
Batman: Arkham City is Rocksteady Studios’ 2011 follow-up that builds upon the foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security “home” for all of Gotham City’s thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.
In the 2015 finale to the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight sees Batman face the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite a roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise.
Batman: Arkham Trilogy is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch this fall 2023, complete with all previously released downloadable content (DLC) from all three titles. The trilogy is being developed for Nintendo Switch by Turn Me Up Games.
