PlayStation Showcase 2021 announced
Sony hosting a digital event next week for upcoming PS5 games
Sony has announced the PlayStation Showcase 2021 Broadcast.
The digital stream will take place Thursday, September 9 at 1:00pm Pacific Time / 9:00pm BST / 10:00pm CEST and promises a look into the future of PS5.
The Showcase will weigh in at around 40 minutes and include updates from PlayStation Studios and other developers, for games releasing this holiday and beyond. After the presentation there will be more updates from some of the studio teams featured in the Showcase.
Sony also notes that PlayStation’s next generation of VR won’t make an appearance this time.
The PlayStation 5 was released on November 12, 2020, in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, North America, and South Korea, with worldwide release following a week later.
