WWE 2K22 coming next year
The wrestling franchise will return with promises of improvement
2K and Visual Concepts have announced that WWE 2K22 is currently scheduled for release in March 2022.
WWE 2K22 promises new controls, improved graphics, and a redesigned engine. As part of the game’s development process, 85% of the in-game roster has taken part in facial scanning for ultra-realistic and updated character models, and more than 3,400 new animations have been captured. More details will be revealed in January 2022.
2K took a year off and did not release WWE 2K21 following the poor reception of WWE 2K20.
The platforms for WWE 2K22 were not yet confirmed, but it's likely to be released on current and last-gen consoles.
