A new slim console will launch in November

Posted on

Following a few leaks, Microsoft has officially confirmed that the Xbox Series S is coming this Fall.

The Xbox Series S is an all-digital next-gen console (no disk drive), 512GB NVME SSD promising faster load times, higher frame rates, 4K streaming media playback, 4K upscaling for games, and more, all in the small physical form.

The company also confirmed that the console will launch on November 10 for $299 USD / $379 CAD. A full, more in-depth reveal is promised to be coming soon.

The much more powerful alternative, Xbox Series X, is still awaiting a final release date and price announcement.
