Hyper Sports R cancelled

Konami has issued a statement that the arcade game Hyper Sports R for the Nintendo Switch has been cancelled.
In a statement, the company said: “As of today, we have decided to discontinue development on “HYPER SPORTS R” for the Nintendo Switch. However, after much consideration, we have decided to cancel its development due to various circumstances.”
The game was first revealed in 2018, and showcased at E3 2018. It promised 20+ characters to build up and compete in a variety of different sports, which included track and field, beach volleyball and swimming.
