ESA cancels E3 2020

The annual conference will not go ahead due to COVID-19 concerns

Posted on

Entertainment Software Association, the organizer of E3, has announced that they made the decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles.

The reason for cancellation is the currently spreading COVID-19 virus. The ESA will be reaching out directly to exhibitors and attendees with information about providing full refunds.

The company is exploring options with industry members to coordinate an online experience to showcase industry announcements and news in June 2020.

The event is planned to return in 2021.
