NBA 2K20 MyCAREER story mode details
2K partners with SpringHill Entertainment for the cinematic story
2K has announced a partnership with SpringHill Entertainment – the company created by LeBron James and Maverick Carter – which includes the production and creative control of NBA 2K20’s MyCAREER cinematic narrative called When The Lights Are Brightest.
SpringHill Entertainment collaborated with developer Visual Concepts to write, direct, and cast this year’s storyline for the game mode. This year’s narrative features the storyline of an NBA prospect named Che on his quest for gold both on and off the court, covering the importance of mentors, dealing with off-court pressures and current social issues.
The cinematic narrative was directed by Sheldon Candis, and features Idris Elba, Rosario Dawson, and NBA all-stars past and present.
NBA 2K20 will be released this September on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
