The Outer Worlds in development for Nintendo Switch
RPG will also arrive on hybrid console, at a later date
Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment have announced that The Outer Worlds is also in development for Nintendo Switch.
Obsidian Entertainment, in partnership with Virtuos, will bring the RPG to the console. It will launch at some point after the main launch on other platforms this October.
In The Outer Worlds, you awake from hibernation on a colonist ship that was lost in transit to Halcyon, the furthest colony from Earth located at the edge of the galaxy, only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy it. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds.
The Outer Worlds will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (via the Microsoft Windows Store and Epic Games store) on October 25, 2019.
