Halo Infinite coming late 2020
Sequel planned to release alongside Project Scarlett
Halo Infinite is coming to PC and Xbox One in holiday 2020. It will release alongside Project Scarlett (Microsoft’s updated console) and will be included with the Xbox Game Pass, on both console and PC. The game is powered by the new Slipspace engine and will utilize the extra power of the new Scarlett console.
Chris Lee, Studio Head of Halo Infinite, puts it, “By harnessing the power of our new Slipspace Engine and combining it with the power and promise of Project Scarlett, we plan to build the Halo game we’ve always dreamed of – and share it with even more players, competitors, adventurers, and creators than ever before.”
In Halo Infinite, players will join venerable Master Chief on an all-new adventure as he uncovers the mysteries surrounding the appearance of The Pilot and the desolate remains of a Halo ring.
