Green Planet now available for Surviving Mars
Terraform Mars in the second major expansion
Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games have released Green Planet and Project Laika for Surviving Mars. Available on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, they are $19.99 and $5.99 respectively.
Green Planet is the second major expansion and it allows players to turn Mars green. It introduces Terraforming parameters which involves seeding vegetation across the planet’s surface in hopes of making it habitable. Players can improve the soil quality and create buildings that release greenhouse gases. Once you create the ideal atmosphere, you can open the domes and let players breathe Martian air.
Project Laika allows players to breed animals to be used as food in new Dome Ranches. Farm animals include Pigs, Chickens and Cows. The DLC also includes 25 different pets, including cats, dogs, and penguins.
Surviving Mars released on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 back in March 2018.
