Electronic Arts reports FY19 financial results

Company remains focused on deep live services content

Electronic Arts Inc. has announced preliminary financial results for its fourth fiscal quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2019.

Digital sales for the trailing twelve months was $3.722 billion, up 5% year-over-year and represents 75% of total sales bookings. Net cash from operating activities was $599 million for the quarter and $1.547 billion for the trailing twelve months.

In FY19, more than 45 million unique players engaged in FIFA 19 and FIFA 18 on console and PC. In FY19, active players in The Sims 4 increased by 35% year-over-year.

The company also shared its Fiscal Year 2020 expectations, with Net revenue expected to be approximately $5.375 billion.
