The Division 2 gets Tidal Basin update today
New World Tier and content introduced with first DLC
Ubisoft has announced the first major update for The Division 2 is out now with the Tidal Basin DLC.
Tidal Basin lets players to advance to World Tier 5, which means tougher enemies and a whole new level of loot that will let players increase their gear score past 450. The update also introduces The Division 2’s toughest challenge yet: a new stronghold held by the Black Tusk faction.
Tidal Basin is the first free update as part of Invasion: Battle for D.C., which will include the release of The Division’s first ever 8-player raid, and a new fourth specialization, later this month.
Invasion: Battle For D.C. is just the first entry in The Division 2’s Year 1 post-launch plan, which will see the release of new main missions and new locations through three additional episodes of content dropping throughout 2019. All Year 1 content will be completely free for all players.
The Division 2 was released last month for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
