Fallout 76 beta dates confirmed
Fans get an early look at the upcoming RPG
Bethesda has announced new details about the upcoming B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early Test Application) for Fallout 76.
The beta begins first on Xbox One on Tuesday, October 23, and on PlayStation 4 and PC (via Bethesda.net only) on October 30. The beta can only be accessed by players who pre-ordered Fallout 76 from participating retailers.
The servers will not be running 24/7; instead, they’ll be online during targeted timeframes, to be confirmed later. Bethesda feels that’s the best way put the systems to the test and see how they respond. On any given day the game might be up for anywhere between four to eight hours.
The beta is said to be the full game experience, and there is a plan to carry forward user progress to the official release. The beta client will be approximately 45GB in size.
Fallout 76 is set to launch November 14th on Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
