WH40k: Inquisitor - Martyr delayed on consoles
Upcoming RPG port needs more time, but the PC release will go ahead
Neocore and Bigben have announced that the release of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr for Xbox One and PlayStation4 has been delayed.
The game, previously scheduled to release June 5, will release later this summer on consoles. The PC version launch will still go ahead as scheduled on that date.
"With such an immense gameplay experience - entirely redesigned for console players - the development studio, Neocore, will need additional time to perfect the game's unique functionalities, such as local multiplayer and procedural map generation," said the company.
In Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, players control an Inquisitor in the Caligari Sector, a region infested with heretics, mutants, and Chaos Daemons. The game, playable in both solo and online cooperative mode with up to 4 players, lets players progress through a persistent universe via numerous missions with varied objectives.
