Runic Games and Motiga studios shut down
Owner company Perfect World Entertainment has decided to close the two studios
Perfect World Entertainment has confirmed that it has closed two studios that it owns, Runic Games and Motiga.
In a statement (via Dtoit), Perfect World says the games developed by both studios will remain live, and get some content updates in the future. The two closures were unrelated.
The most recent release from Motiga was the MMO/battle game Gigantic. Runic Games, meanwhile, are best known for creating the Torchlight RPG series. Their most recent release was Hob, just a few months ago.
