Definitive Edition coming for Pillars of Eternity
PC edition includes both expansions and extra content
Available on November 15, 2017, Pillars of Eternity: Definite Edition will include both White March expansions, all premium extras, and an all-new bundle of content, called the “Deadfire Pack,” inspired by Obsidian’s upcoming Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
The Definite Edition will be available on PC, Mac, and Linux. Premium extras include the original soundtrack and a digital collector's book. While the Deadfire Pack DLC comes with this new edition, it will also be available to all owners of Pillars of Eternity for no cost as a lead up to the sequel that is due for release in 2018.
The Definite Edition will cost $39.99 and the original version of the game will receive a price reduction down to $29.99. Pillars of Eternity released in March 2015 after it was successfully crowdfunded in 2012. It was released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One earlier this year.
