Fire Emblem Warriors gets a Special Edition

At Nintendo Direct today, the publisher has announced new details about the upcoming action title Fire Emblem Warriors.

The launch has now been confirmed for October 20th. In the game, players clash with legions of soldiers and fierce monsters as Marth, Xander, Corrin, and other Fire Emblem heroes unleashing over-the-top-powerful Dynasty Warriors-style moves. Take direct control of known and original Fire Emblem characters, issue them strategic commands in the midst of battle, pair up heroes to unleash stunning attacks, and more.

There will also be a $80 Special Edition that comes with the game, plus three CDs with music from the game, and a dual-sided poster showing the first Fire Emblem games the characters appeared in. One side of the poster will be in English, while the other will be in Japanese.

Fire Emblem Warriors will be out exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
