Life is Strange: Before the Storm debuts this summer

At E3 today, Square Enix has announced Life is Strange: Before the Storm, a prequel to the Life is Strange adventure game.

Before the Storm is set in Arcadia Bay, three years before the events of the first game in the series. Players will take on the role of a rebellious 16 year-old Chloe Price who forms an unlikely friendship with Rachel Amber. When Rachel’s world is turned upside down by a family secret, it takes this new-found alliance to give each other the strength to overcome their demons.

Whilst the first released game in the series was created by DONTNOD Entertainment in Paris, Before the Storm is being developed by Denver based studio, Deck Nine Games.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm will be a three-episode series, with the first chapter making its debut on August 31. The game will be out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
