Middle-earth: Shadow of War delayed

WB Games and Monolith Productions have announced that Middle-earth: Shadow of War has been delayed for a few months.

Originally planned for launch in August, the action game sequel will now October 10, 2017 worldwide. In a brief statement, the developers said "As with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Monolith is committed to delivering the highest quality experience. In order to do this, we have made the difficult decision to move our launch date to ensure that Middle-earth: Shadow of War will deliver on that promise."

In Middle-earth: Shadow of War, players wield a new Ring of Power and confront the deadliest of enemies, including Sauron and his Nazgul, in a monumental battle for Middle-earth. The open-world action-adventure game is brought to life through the expansion of the Nemesis System.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4.
