E3 2010 Almost Full
Online registration closes this week
The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that this year's show has almost hit its attendance cap, and will now be closing online registration this week.
"Due to the overwhelming response and excitement we've received for E3 Expo 2010, we have to close online attendee registration on Wednesday, June 9, at 11PM Pacific," said Dan Hewitt, Director of Communications for the ESA. "However, qualified industry professionals can still purchase badges onsite."
Hewitt noted he's expected between 41,000 to 45,000 people at this year's show, split up between industry professionals, analysts, journalists and retailers.
"To help ensure attendees have a positive experience and are able to conduct business efficiently, we have to limit attendance to avoid congestion," he also said.
