Final COD: Black Ops 3 DLC revealed
Salvation, the fourth and final pack, will be out for PS4 in September
Activision has announced Salvation, the fourth DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, will arrive first on PlayStation 4 on September 6.
Salvation features Revelations, the final chapter in the Origins Zombies saga. In Revelations, players meet up with the Origins characters after they’ve taken a journey through space and time. Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai finally come face to face with the mysterious Doctor Monty in The House.
Salvation of course also comes with four new multiplayer maps. Once home to a powerful medieval army, Citadel is an ancient castle now sits broken and abandoned. Tight corners force close-quarters engagements, while the moat and drawbridge allows for unique player movement opportunities in this mid-sized map. Micro is a miniaturized war zone that takes place on a well-stocked family picnic table.
Gear up for a showdown in Outlaw; a western-style re-imagining of the map Standoff from Call of Duty: Black Ops II. This medium-sized map brings classic engagements, flanking routes and strategic positions for long and medium ranged combat. Finally, Rupture is a re-imagined Call of Duty: World at War version of Outskirts, as a high-tech facility designed by a futuristic society desperate to repair the Earth’s atmosphere.
Salvation can be purchased for $15, or comes included in the DLC Season Pass. Starting today, those who pre-order Salvation for PlayStation 4 will receive an exclusive Revelations dynamic theme.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III Salvation will launch on other platforms later on.
