Blur beta updated
New features added for the rest of the demo's lifetime
With more than one million downloads across the globe, Activision and Bizarre Creations would like to thank everyone for making Blur one of the most successful multiplayer online beta demos to date!
The feedback received has aided in fine tuning the game and will allow Bizarre to deliver the Ultimate Powered-Up Racing Experience when Blur hits the streets in North America on May 25th and Europe on May 28th.
Your support and interest in making this multiplayer beta a success is appreciated! As thanks, the developer is offering fans the chance to test out even more of the full multiplayer experience before the demo comes to a close on May 10th at 2am PDT.
Beginning today, the demo will offer the following:
- The ability to play A-Class cars in standard playlists
- An expanded Supercar Racing Playlist that include races in Tokyo and Amboy
- Power-Ups now shuffle so each race has different Power-Up placement
- Players can earn double the amount of fans for each race, allowing players to quickly reach Rank-15 and experience the full Beta demo experience
Blur is scheduled to release at the end of the month on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
