Black Ops 3 beta begins
Beta access now available on PlayStation 4
The Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta has arrived on PlayStation 4. System owners worldwide who obtained a beta access code will experience Treyarch’s new multiplayer gameplay first hand. If you didn’t get a code, Beta access codes are being sold on Ebay for around $6 USD. The beta will be available from today until Sunday, 23rd of August, with other platforms to follow. Players are encouraged to submit their Beta feedback.
The Black Ops III beta represents a fraction of the full game. The beta includes three maps and at least seven game modes. It also includes weapon customisation featuring both Create-a-Class and Weapon Paint Shop functionality. The weapon Paint Shop will not available on PC version of Beta. All progression will reset at the end of the Beta. Announced back in June this year, Black Ops III marks the series transition from being first on Xbox, to first on PlayStation. “The relationship between SCEA and Activision continues to flourish, allowing us to deliver content to PlayStation fans before they can get it anywhere else,” said Adam Boyes, VP of Publisher and Developer Relations, Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC.
The Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer beta will be available on Xbox One and PC starting August 26. The full game is releasing on November 6th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
