Van Halen coming to Rock Band 4
One track available at launch, more to follow
Harmonix Music Systems today announced, that for the first time in the series, a Van Halen track will be a part of Rock Band 4. Players will be able to perform the song “Panama” at when the game launches. More music from the band will be available for download after launch via the music store.
“For years we’ve wanted to bring Van Halen’s music to Rock Band,” added Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak.
Van Halen recently released remastered versions of their first six albums, as well as a newly recorded live album, Tokyo Dome Live In Concert. The band is currently on tour in multiple cities throughout North America.
Van Halen joins other bands including Aerosmith, Avenged Sevenfold, The Black Keys, Elvis Presley, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Jack White, Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars, St. Vincent, Queens of the Stone Age, The Who.
Rock Band 4 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 6th 2015.
