Posted Sep 2, 2010 20:46 (18 hours ago)
Immersion is a funny and illusive thing in the video game world, and really has little to do with polish and production values. Some high-quality, big budget titles with great production [...]

StarCraft 2 Review
Posted Aug 17, 2010 01:23 (17 days ago)
It’s always hard to know what a game that is in development for over 5 years will have to offer upon release. Often developer swaps, engine-upgrades and budget constraints cause the [...]

Dragon Age - Awakening review
Posted Jun 20, 2010 02:46 (75 days ago)
If you look at the price tag alone, you would think that Dragon Age: Awakening lies somewhere between a full game and an expansion. While this is partially true in that Awakening is [...]

F.E.A.R. Review
Posted May 23, 2010 06:49 (103 days ago)
Generally when you think of a horror game you picture grotesque monsters popping out of air vents, claustrophobic camera angles and ominous, rumbling music. While FEAR does not transcen [...]

Mass Effect 2 Review
Posted Feb 6, 2010 17:36 (208 days ago)
These days it seems that an overwhelming number of major releases are, in one way or another, sequels. Most fit neatly into a pre-established IP, but rarely provide a direct continuation [...]

Today the game market it so full of huge, high budget super-hyped block buster video games that often a very excellent production can slip under the radar entirely. Risen, the latest offe [...]

Re: Dawn of War II - Retribution Announced

Sweet, Orks are my favorite race to play as in the games multiplayer so a campaign as them should be a blast. I look forward to it. |
Re: Mafia 2 Developer call
Posted Aug 13, 2010 18:35 (20 days ago)
Interesting stuff, really sounds like the dev team is doing everything in its power to make the game as authentic as possible, which is a lot of what made Mafia 1 so great. |
Re: Space Marine announced for PC

Yay Relic! I was really unhappy about this not being on PC, so this, for me, is probably the most exciting announcement so far this year. |
