Turtle Beach Unveils Five New Xbox Controllers with Advanced Features
Turtle Beach Corporation (Nasdaq: TBCH), one of the most recognizable names in gaming accessories, has unveiled five new officially licensed Designed for Xbox wired controllers. The collection introduces four new versions of the Rematch Advanced Wired Controller—Blue Kitsune, Cotton Candy, Kyoto Bloom, and Dark Cosmos—alongside a fresh model, the Afterglow Ignite Wired RGB Controller.
All five controllers are fully compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 and 11 PCs. They’re available now worldwide through turtlebeach.com and at select global retailers. The Rematch Advanced controllers carry an MSRP of $39.99 | £34.99 | €39.99, while the Afterglow Ignite model is priced slightly higher at $49.99 | £39.99 | €49.99.
Turtle Beach CEO Cris Keirn described the new lineup as offering “a perfect balance of innovation, precision, and style.” He noted that the Afterglow Ignite’s dynamic RGB lighting “brings a new level of personality,” while the Rematch Advanced models stand out for their “fresh visual designs.”
The Rematch Advanced Wired Controller now arrives in four distinctly styled colorways. Blue Kitsune draws inspiration from Japanese folklore, with flowing fox imagery in soft blue tones that glow once connected to a console or PC. Cotton Candy offers a glow-in-the-dark finish, and Kyoto Bloom and Dark Cosmos use lenticular surfaces that change appearance when viewed from different angles, creating a shifting, light-catching effect.
Underneath the visual design, the Rematch Advanced line keeps the company’s performance-driven hardware. Each controller includes true Hall Effect hair triggers with a two-stop function for precision control, mappable back buttons, textured grips, thumbsticks, and triggers, plus integrated D-pad audio controls with a quick mic mute button. Players can fine-tune button mapping, trigger sensitivity, and lighting effects through the free Turtle Beach Control Hub app.
The Afterglow Ignite Wired RGB Controller builds on that foundation with seven RGB lighting zones and four dynamic effects. When powered on, its matte black shell transforms into what Turtle Beach calls a “time machine-inspired” illuminated design. Lighting adjustments can be made directly from the controller itself or via the Control Hub app.
Hardware-wise, the Afterglow Ignite mirrors the Rematch Advanced models, featuring the same Hall Effect triggers, dual mappable back buttons, a 10-foot USB-C cable, built-in 3.5mm headset jack, and D-pad audio controls.
All five models are wired and carry the Designed for Xbox label. Players looking for wireless options can explore Turtle Beach’s other controller lines or visit the Xbox Design Lab, where Microsoft recently introduced new designs inspired by The Outer Worlds 2.
Turtle Beach began fifty years ago as Octave Electronics, a sound card manufacturer, before pivoting to gaming headsets in 2005. Since then, the brand has steadily expanded beyond audio, building a reputation for quality across its growing range of gaming accessories, including controllers for Xbox.
