Company of Heroes 2 update adds Observer Mode and Mod Tools

SEGA and Relic Entertainment have launched a brand new update for Company of Heroes 2, adding two new community features to the game – Observer Mode and Mod Tools.

Observer Mode allows players to sync up and watch live multiplayer matches as they unfold. The feature lets players view games from a variety of different angles, at different speeds and player perspectives and grants access to live data that was previously inaccessible. Observer Mode features include support for hundreds of viewers, customized UI and settings, and full data display.

Mod Tools meanwhile equip the community with even more opportunities to create their own custom content. Mod Tool features include an Attribute Editor, a Mod Builder, an Archive Viewer, Tuning Packs, and Win Condition Packs.

Company of Heroes 2 launched on PC last year. Company of Heroes 2: Ardennes Assault standalone expansion pack is set to launch in November.
