First NHL 15 update adds missing features
Free patch includes Playoff mode, gameplay improvements
The first free content update for NHL 15 is now available for download worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, adding more features to the game.
This free content update adds Playoff Mode, where fans can participate an offline bracket tournament with up to 16 teams. Use the teams from the NHL or create your own tournament tree by selecting teams from up to 12 different leagues.
In Be a Pro, after each shift you will get the coach’s feedback while you are on the bench. The coach will give you tips on how to stay on top of your game and grade you on your game play. At the end of the game, players can see see the three stars and their stats.
Hockey Ultimate Team has gained updated layouts and improved navigation, new animations for player items, and improved edit lines screen that better identifies players that are injured or require contract extensions.
NHL 15 launched earlier this month for Xbox One and PS4, and was notably missing quite a few features that existed previously. The developers aim to address some of the gaps with these free updates.
