Platform: Wii U
Sonic Boom releasing a week earlier
Street date pushed up for upcoming series reboot
SEGA has announced that Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, developed by LA-based Big Red Button, will now be released on November 11th.
That's a week earlier than previously announced. This move also puts the Wii U game in conjunction with the release of Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for the Nintendo 3DS developed by Sanzaru Games of San Francisco.
The two distinct adventures are part of the brand-new Sonic Boom initiative. This new Sonic look brings fans a never before seen world, based on action-adventure combat, new characters and environments.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric will release exclusively for Wii U as part of an agreement between SEGA and Nintendo.
