Avalanche Studios expands

Development studio moves to bigger office location

Posted on

Avalanche Studios has said it will move into more than 3000 square meters (32 000 square feet) of custom designed space at the top of the new building, which is being constructed only blocks away from the current location.

The 160 developers based in Stockholm will enjoy greatly increased studio space and state of the art amenities along with high tech infrastructure. The studio has signed a lease for 5 years and will move in the fall of 2015.

Avalanche Studios is currently based in both Stockholm and New York. The NYC studio recently also expanded and now occupies close to 1700 square meters (18 000 square feet) of custom space in the SoHo district. It is currently home to more than 90 developers across all disciplines.

Avalanche Studios was founded in 2003 and is best known for their Just Cause franchise. They are currently working on a new Mad Max title.
