July 2014 Games with Gold revealed
Guacamelee free for its Xbox One debut
Microsoft has announced the titles for the Games with Gold program for the month of July 2014.
Coming July 2, Guacamelee Super Turbo Championship Edition will arrive via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program for Xbox One, and will be free with Gold. You play Juan Aguacate, a masked Mexican wrestler on a quest to save the President’s daughter from the evil, skeletal Carlos Calaca.
Available July 1-15 on Xbox 360, Gotham City Impostors is a multiplayer, first-person shooter based on DC Comics’ Batman universe. Here, two teams of six players face off against each other using a variety of Batman- and Joker-themed weapons in deathmatches.
Then from July 16-31 on Xbox 360, BattleBlock Theater offers single player or co-op gameplay as you jump, solve and battle your way through a mysterious theater inhabited by highly technological felines.
As usual, the games listed here are free for Xbox Live Gold subscribers in North America.
