Bohemia Interactive donates DLC profit to charity
Arma 3 Karts DLC sales going to Czech Red Cross
Bohemia Interactive has announced that one million Czech koruna (approx $49,600 USD) from the Arma 3 Karts DLC sales will be donated to the Czech Red Cross.
Arma 3 Karts, which was originally revealed as an April Fools‘ joke, was released about one month ago as a fun little sidestep in Arma 3’s typically military sandbox. Its primary purpose was to test Arma 3’s experimental approach to DLC.
“Alongside helping us to evaluate Arma 3's new approach to DLC, with the backing of our community, Arma 3 Karts has managed to raise money for a great cause," said Jay Crowe, Creative Director on Arma 3.
The Arma 3 Karts DLC will remain on sale for 1.49 EUR / 1.99 USD / 1.19 GBP. It can also be purchased as part of the Arma 3 DLC Bundle, which includes the upcoming Helicopters and Marksmen DLC.
