The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt release date set

CD Projekt Red have announced new information regarding their upcoming RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The Wild Hunt will be available in two physical editions, and as a digital edition, on GOG.com. The standard physical copy of the game contains the official soundtrack, developer-created "Witcher Universe - The Compendium", a map of the in-game world, a set of stickers and a protective sleeve.

The Wild Hunt Collector’s Edition meanwhile contains all the contents from the standard edition of the game; a 33x24x26 cm (10”) hand painted Polystone figure of Geralt of Rivia battling a Griffin; a Witcher medallion, a SteelBook box, plus a two-hundred-page artbook. There is currently no price set for this edition of the game.

Finally, the release date of the game is set for the 24th of February, 2015. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a story-driven open world role-playing game, set in a graphically stunning fantasy universe, full of meaningful choices and impactful consequences. In The Witcher, you play as Geralt of Rivia, one of a dying caste of monster hunters, and embark on an epic journey in a war-ravaged world that will inevitably lead you to confront a foe darker than anything humanity has faced so far — the Wild Hunt.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
