Amazing Spider-Man 2 delayed on Xbox One
Publisher says that version of the game is coming later
The Xbox One version of Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been delayed, according to Activision.
“We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One. When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD, we are working with Microsoft in an effort to release it for the console,” said the publisher in a statement.
No reason has been given for the delay/cancellation. Many retailers continue to take pre-orders for the game, but the official website has been updated to remove the Xbox One SKU.
The game will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and the PC on April 29, 2014 as previously announced.
