Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn reaches 2 million users

Square Enix has announced that the total number of registered accounts for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn now exceeds 2 million globally.
The number comes from players on multiple gaming platforms – PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. The MMO first launched on PC years ago and had to be rebranded as Realm Reborn after dissapointing reception by players and critics. The PS4 version launched just this week.
Square Enix promises continued support for the game with new patches and content updates at regular intervals.
