Diablo 3 Monk class revealed
The next class in Diablo 3 has been revealed, the game is also expected to miss 2010.
The fourth class in the Diablo 3 game has been revealed at Blizzcon - the Monk. This class is agressive and uses hand to hand combat along with fist like weapons similar perhaps to the Assassin class seen in Diablo 2.
A full backstory on the monk character can be read over at the official site. Also released are a series of movies and trailers that show off the Monk's abilities that allow him to get in close and do some serious damage, moving between enemies with incredible speed.
Also announced is the strong possibility that Diablo 3 will not be released in 2010. Blizzard told shacknews that it expects to release two titles in 2010. Currently three titles are being developed, Starcraft 2 that will almost certainly be available in 2010 and WoW Cataclysm that will probably arrive some time during 2010 if the previous expansions are any indication. That leaves Diablo 3 to arrive sometime in 2011 perhaps, we will see.
