Final Fantasy XIV PS4 Beta begins second phase

Square Enix has announced that Beta Test Phase 2 for the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now live and runs until 1:00 a.m. PDT on Monday, April 7th.

Phase 2 of the Beta uses the live game servers, so players can join other PC and PlayStation 3 players and use existing characters in the Beta. New characters and player progress created during this phase can be transferred at the start of the official service that begins with the release on Monday, April 14th.

Everyone who has a PlayStation 4 system is eligible to participate in the Beta test for free.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will release on PlayStation 4 on April 14th.
