Minecraft sells 12 million on Xbox 360
Milestone reached as Xbox One version is coming soon
Mojang's Minecraft on Xbox 360 has crossed the 12 million sold mark, Microsoft has announced.
That makes the it one of the most successful Xbox 360 games ever. The game has benefited from ongoing support, including the April 18 release of the new Candy Texture Pack.
It was only in December of last year that the title hit 10 million, meaning two million copies were shifted in the space of the last 4 months.
Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is also in development.
